Antonio “Obama” Sumlin, 32, is the latest defendant to accept a plea deal in the widely-watched RICO case against rapper Young Thug and 27 others, according to a media report.
Prosecution accuse Jeffery “Young Thug” Williams’ label, Young Slime Life, of being a criminal street gang. Sumlin was a co-defendant named in the case.
Sumlin is the sixth defendant in the past week to accept a guilty plea, the outlet reported. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, two counts of conspiracy to commit a crime and participation in criminal street gang activity, according to the AJC.
