According to The Post, a 27-year-old hospital worker, Javonni Jenkins, and her 79-year-old father, Curtis Hardman, were found sh*t to d*ath.
After Javonni’s 2-year-old son answered a FaceTime call from Nicole Worth, one of Javonni’s co-workers, who was concerned about Javonni being a no-call no-show. Their bodies were discovered in their south side Chicago apartment.
“I could see that he had no clothes on. He was just in a diaper. So now something’s wrong,” Worth said. She called the police and asked them to perform a wellness check. Worth and several other friends and co-workers also rushed to the scene. Upon the police’s arrival at 10:50 am, they discovered Jenkins and Hardman’s bodies. Also an unharmed child.
“The whole time I had the baby on the phone, he was very content, playing with his toys,” Worth told the outlet.
“Once I had that baby on the phone, and after a certain amount of time of no parents calling [for] the baby, you don’t hear that — there’s something wrong,” she said. “We came a little too late. We saved the baby. That’s all we could do.”
So far there have been no arrests.
