It was confirmed that Lisa’s audition program schedule was behind the misinformation from China. 

On the 12th, a media outlet borrowed the words of a Chinese agency to look for Lisa’s casting, but reported that it was difficult to discuss the schedule because the contract renewal with YG was unclear, and shed a negative light on Lisa’s contract renewal direction.

Among them, a member of the music industry who is familiar with the news of Blackpink told OSEN, “Lisa served as a mentor for the audition program ‘Youth You Uni 3’ of the Chinese video platform iQiyi in 2021. Subsequently, a request to appear in another program came in, but currently I think the background of the misinformation may be that I refused because it was not easy physically or physically in the midst of a busy schedule such as tours and personal schedules,” he hinted.
