YG Entertainment on #BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ and Kang Dong’s dating rumors:
“It is difficult to confirm because it is an artist’s private area.”
Amid speculation that Blackpink’s Rose and actor Kang Dong Won are in a relationship with a 16-year age gap, their agency has said it is difficult to confirm.
On Sunday, Rose’s agency, YG Entertainment, responded to the rumors of their relationship, saying, “It is difficult to confirm because it is the private domain of the artists.”

Rose and Kang Dong Won were once part of the YG Entertainment family. Rose debuted as BLACKPINK after training with YG Entertainment, while Kang Dong Won signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment in 2016 and announced the establishment of his own agency after his contract expired last December.
Rumors were initially raised when Chinese media pointed out that both Rosé and Kang Dong Won were seen together at a party with former Burberry executive Riccardo Tisci, and pointed out that a substance looking like drugs was on the table. YG Entertainment quickly shut down those rumors.
A few days ago, Blackpink star Rosé was rumoured to have been dating Kang. Netizens picked up on ‘hints’ such as matching necklaces, their attendance at the same events, their similar friends circle, and of course, Rosé having attended his movie Broker’s VIP premiere.
Recently, a few media portals pointed out that both Rosé and Kang Dong Won were seen together at a party with former Burberry executive Riccardo Tisci, wherein a substance looking like drugs was on the table.
