X has added a community note to a post reporting that Taylor Swift and Hayley Williams pursued legal action against Olivia Rodrigo.

Olivia Rodrigo to The Guardian on fan speculation that some lyrics in “vampire” relate to her alleged fallout with Taylor Swift:

“How do I answer this? … I think it’s better to not pigeonhole a song to being about this one thing. I was very surprised when people thought that.”

Olivia Rodrigo on her decision to start off touring smaller venues:

“I kind of had overnight success. I’d been working on songs for years and preparing for that moment for a long time. But in many respects it was very instantaneous, so taking things slower was my way of coping.”

Olivia Rodrigo says the scrutiny she faced from legal issues with ‘SOUR’ didn’t make her second-guess writing ‘GUTS’:

“I feel like now I know so much more about the industry and I just feel … better equipped in that regard. It wasn’t something I thought about too much.”
