World Cup 2022: Samuel Eto’o caught on camera assaulting a journalist after he was accused of bribery
Samuel Eto’o, president of the Cameroonian Football Federation, has been caught on camera a§§aulting a man believed to be a journalist after a football match on Monday.
In the footage shared by La Opinion, a Spanish newspaper, Eto’o was seen att@cking the man at the end of the Brazil-South Korea game outside Stadium 974 in Qatar.
According to the viral video, Eto’o was escorted out of the stadium, while a crowd of fans approached the former footballer to ask for photos and greet him. One of them approached him with a camera to record him and said something that angered the Cameroonian, as can be seen in the images filmed by journalist

Something appeared to be said after Eto’o had walked away from the fan, and he then turned and approached the individual. Several people accompanying the ex-footballer had to grab him to restrain him. As the fan was bending over, Eto’o swung a ki#k and appeared to have caught him in the face. However, some Twitter users have alleged that the football star got angry after he was accused of bribing the referee in favor of his home team.
