Wizkid officially becomes The Headies Most Awarded Artiste after winning two categories

The 14th – 2020/2021 Headies Awards are over but it was an incredible event. One of the best events/editions so far. Nigerian singer, Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as, Wizkid, has officially become The Headies most awarded artiste with 11 awards.

After winning “Artiste of the Year Award” and “Headies Viewer’s Choice Award”, he became the most awarded artiste in the history of The Headies. He currently has 11 Headies. He defeated Davido, Burnaboy, Tiwasavage and Mayorkun to win the category for “Artiste Of The Year.”

In another news, Simi won the award category for “Songwriter Of The Year” for her song, “Duduke.” She defeated other songwriters, such as: Burnaboy, Omah Lay, Fireboy DML, Adekunle Gold and Wurld. South African artiste, Master KG, won the award category for “African Artiste of the Year.”
