Winners at the 2020 BET Awards.

We are here to present to you all the winners at the 2020 BET Awards, which was held last night in a closed door ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

So many Black artists got recognised for their talents and hard work, as BET awards them with their plaques. Roddy Ricch, Megan Thee Stallion, Chris Brown were the biggest winners at the 2020 BET Awards. 

Nigerian singer, Rema loses to South African songstress, Sha Sha while Burnaboy and Wizkid made Nigeria proud as each of them bagged an award. Beyoncé was honoured with Humanitarian Award for all her inspirations and philanthropic acts.

1. Best female RnB/pop artist – Lizzo.

2. Best male RnB/pop artist – Chris Brown.

3. Video of the year – “Higher” by Dj Khaled feat Nipsey Hussle and John Legend.

4. Best International act – Burnaboy.

5. Viewer’s choice best new international act – Sha Sha.

6. Best female hip hop artist – Megan Thee Stallion.

7. Best male hip hop artist – Dababy.

8. Best group – Migos.

9. Best collaboration – No Guidance by Chris Brown feat Drake.

10. Best new artist – Roddy Ricch.

11. Album of the year – “Please Excuse me For Being Antisocial” – Roddy Ricch.

12. Best actor – Michael B. Jordan.

13. Best actress – Issa Rae.

14. Sportsman of the year – Lebron James(basketball player).

15. Sportswoman of the year – Simone Biles(gymnast).

16. Youngstars award – Marsai Martin.

17. BET HER award – “Brown Skin Girl” by Beyoncé feat Blue Ivy, Wizkid and Saint JHN.

18. Video director of the year – Teyana “Spike Tee” Taylor.

19. Viewer’s choice award – “Hot Girl Summer” by Megan Thee Stallion feat Nicki Minaj and Dolla Sign.
