Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that UDA and Deputy President, William Ruto’s economic advisor, David Ndii, has resigned. (Read More Here).

In a trending statement, David Ndii, stated his reasons behind the resignation. His reasons are: Unpaid dues, corruption and political conmanship.

His statement reads:

Resignation:

Your Excellency,

Following a sequence of personal reflection and thoughts provoking reviews, I wish to tender my resignation as your economic advisor.

“Having originated the concept of bottom-up economic model, which seeks to uplift the proletariats, which was also in the NASA 2017 campaigns, I have come to realise that my position as UDA’s economic strategist is untenable due to the following reasons:

1. Political conmanship: the bottom-up economic model is an apparent departure from trickle down model; in bottom-up, there’s economic inclusion of the masses spurring development whereas in trickle-down, the government targets owners of capital for economic development. This was my initial belief with you, only to realise that you’re using the model for the sole intent of capturing power and don’t believe in its tenets and or spirit.

2. Corruption: When public spending is corruption driven, when Kenya’s external debt hits top celling, the common Mwanachi languishes in despair. Perpetrators of economic sabotage cannot therefore claim to be liberators. In my interactions with you, both informally and in planning, I’m appalled to realise that you’re the main economic saboteur and the cause of economic distress the country is facing. No wonder you’re resistant to any strategy that would fight corruption should you assume presidency.
