Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that South African duo, Black Motion, has spoken about the split rumours from popular blogger, Musa Khawula. (Read More Here).
Taking to their official handles, they shared a statement debunking the parting of ways rumours. According to the statement, it stated that the duo are only rebranding, but will still be together as a group.
According to the statement, Murdah Bongani is rebranding himself to be a Dj with the new stage name – Mörda and Thabo is also going to venture into other businesses.
Thabo Smol wrote: “Aii maan! Musa Musa Musa… WAYAKA SFEBE SE SA MONNA.”
The statement reads:
“The only change which frost) doesn’t affect the duo is that Murdah has rebranded himself from Murdah to Mörda. This is because he’s preparing to launch his solo career as a dj, but still remains part and parcel of Black Motion.
“The same applies for Smol, who is also venturing into other business aspects which will be announced once they are solidified.
“A new album with new sounds and feel is in the making and we will soon announce more projects that Black Motion is working on. We trust that this dispels any rumours or uncertainties from fans, industry peers and promoters, brand agencies or any future events we are booked at.
“Lastly we would like to say a big thank you to all our supporters for their endless love.”
Information reads: “Black Motion releases a statement saying they have not parted ways however Bongani Mohasana has rebranded as Mörda because he is preparing to launch his solo career as a DJ and Thabo is gonna launch his solo career soon and that does not affect Black Motion.”
