Nigerians are currently hailing activist, Oloye Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, for standing up against illegal invasion and killings from Fulani herdsmen in Ibadan, Oyo state.
According to reports, Governor Seyi Makinde, is totally against Sunday Igboho for speaking up against Fulani herdsmen. According to reports, Seyi had ordered the arrest of anyone who would try to carry out Sunday’s threats. He told the Commissioner of Police:
“For people stoking ethnic tension, they are criminals and once you get them, they should be arrested and treated like common criminals.”
A few days ago, Sunday Igboho was spotted in Igangan in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State, giving warnings to Fulani Herdsmen, with a traditional bulletproof (armour) underneath his top. He also blamed popular Fulani rulers in Oyo State: Saliu Kadri and Seriki for keeping quiet while Fulani herdsmen continue to kill people of Oyo State.
According to reports, angry Yoruba youths stormed Seriki’s palace as they destroyed his cars, properties and his Palace. Seriki cried out and his pains were carried out in news by alot of news media houses in Nigeria.
BBC Yoruba granted an interview with Sunday Igboho. He said his mind boldly in the video. Nigerians are currently hailing Sunday for being bold like Nnamdi Kanu, in tackling the evil acts carried out by the Nigerian Government.
According to reports, IGP Adamu Mohammed, had given orders to Oyo Commissioner of Police (CP), Mrs. Ngozi Onadeko, to arrest Sunday Igboho and his followers. IGP ordering the arrest of Sunday was made known by Presidential aide, Garba Shehu during an interview with BBC Hausa.
According to reports again, President Muhammadu Buhari, had given orders to shoot Sunday Igboho and his followers.
“The president was briefed on the matter and he said Sunday’s action can disturb public peace and it should stop. We were told from IG’s office that the president has asked for Sunday Igboho and his followers to be shot at sight if they continue pushing to drag Nigeria into a civil war,” a police officer told The Peoples’ Gazette.

I like the courage of Sunday Igboho.
The IGP should be seen to deescalate the situation by hearing and inviting all sides.
The IGP should find out. Were there really kidnaps, killings by Fulani Herdsmen etc. He should investigate.
Also, his fellow yorubamen will betray him

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu sends warning to Mrs Ngozi Onadeko, the new #IGBO Commissioner of Police, Oyo State over the arrest of Sunday Igboho. This is the divide and rule game the Fulani Caliphate is using against the Southerners. Turning Yoruba’s & Igbos against themselves. Read Below: pic.twitter.com/peULHreUXK

Your Hatred For Nnamdi Kanu Blinded Most Of You To Support The Oppression And Even Emboldened The Tyranny Of This Fulani Govt. The IGP will have to explain to Nigerians why he is ordering the arrest of Sunday Igboho and did not order the arrest of Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, the spokesperson of The coalition of northern groups who threatened the whole nation on @channelstv. https://t.co/qiB8rAflYr

Why is the arrest of Sunday Igboho ordered
I still remember a time when a particular sect ordered igbos out of their area, I couldn’t find evidence of them being arrested
Please explain it to me like I’m 5. No insults please. Just explanations.
