Hurray!!! Nigerian singers; Stanley Omah Didia (Omah Lay), Temilade Openiyi (Tems Baby) and her manager, Muyiwa Ayoniyi, have successfully landed in Nigeria from Uganda today.
Recall that this week was dramatic and chaotic for the aforementioned persons following their arrest in Uganda over claim of breaking COVID-19 guidelines. Both artistes were in Uganda to perform but it ended not so good for them.
Taking to her Twitter page, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, announced that Omah, Tems, Muyiwa and others have returned to Nigeria. According to her, they returned at about 12:35 pm local time via Ethiopia Airlines/Airline.
“Stanley Omah Didia (Omah Lay), Temilade Openiyi (Tems Baby), Muyiwa Ayoniyi and others just landed at the MMIA (Muritala Mohammed International Airport) Lagos from Uganda via Ethiopia Airline at about 12:35pm local time. We are glad they are finally home.
“All is well that ends well. Gratitude to Minister @GeoffreyOnyeama. Our mission in Uganda and the @GovUganda for a quick resolution,” she wrote.
