Over 47 passengers have run for their dear lives before a BRT bus caught fire at Idi Iroko bustop, inward Anthony bustop. The tragic incident happened at exactly 11am, NEMA confirmed.
When the BRT was on fire, there was heavy gridlock at Marland-Ikorodu road. According to reports, the bus was heading to Ikorodu from CMS. Unfortunately, no fire extinguisher was there to help quench the fire a bit.
According to NEMA, it confirmed that over 47 passengers’ lives were spared. No loss of lives reported, either that of the passengers or the passers-by. Thank God. In one of the videos, The 47 passengers were seen running out of the bus.
