“After decades of unsuccessful attempts to starve the Ngorongoro Maasai out of their ancestral lands, Tanzania govt is now waging a violent war against them. The international community has a responsibility to intervene & end these human rights abuses & hold the govt accountable!

“This is what the lust for tourist dollars by Tanzania govt is doing to the Maasai of Ngorongoro: violent eviction from their ancestral lands. Any Western govt, or conservation agency, that supports Tz govt conservation policies, will have the blood of innocent Maasai on its hands.

“Tanzania govt is using paramilitary security forces to evict thousands of Maasai indigenous peoples from their ancestral lands in Ngorongoro District. Western govts & their conservation agencies have moral responsibility to end the unfolding tragedy by cutting all aid to the govt.”
