“What does she do?” – North West response to a producer who asked her what she thinks about the work her mom, Kim Kardashian, does.
Producer: “What do you think about the work your mom does?”
North: “What does she do?”
During an interview with Vice Media’s i-D published on Halloween, North was asked who her style icon is.
“Me,” she simply replied.
The 10-year-old also talked about her love of clothes and said she adores a “Michael Jackson jacket” that her mom once got her for Christmas. She said the best fashion show she’s attended was one that her little sister, Chicago, put on at home.
During the interview, North also showed her inquisitive side when she was asked what type of animal she would like to be.
When it comes to her career aspirations, they include being “a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell.” But in the short-term, she already has budding business ideas.
“When I’m, like, thirteen, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies,” North noted, “because everything around here is so expensive.”
And when it comes to fashion inspo, she doesn’t have to look far either. In response to being asked what item of clothing she wants that she doesn’t currently have, North answered, “My mom’s clothes and my dad’s clothes, if they fit me.”
For North—who is the oldest of Kim and Kanye’s four children—her life in three words right now is “blessed, awesome, cool.” And she has big ideas for the future ahead.
