Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that unknown gunmen have set and razed down the buildings of Directorate of State Services (DSS) and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Nnewi, Anambra State. (Read More Here).
According to a source, the attack on the two offices by the unknown gunmen was carried out in the early hours of Sunday morning in Nnewi, Anambra state.
According to the same source, says that the unknown gunmen drove from Owerri Road in no fewer than four SUVs and stopped at Emecourt Road Junction, where they began to shoot in the air.
In the process of the shootings, stray bullet killed a young lady.
A source says:
“They later drove through Nkwo Triangle Roundabout and moved towards Nnobi Road.
“Military armoured vehicle later surfaced and drove round town passing through Emecourt Road. But there was no exchange of fire as the military and the gunmen did not meet.”
