UFC Champion, Kamaru Usman, has confirmed that he’ll be coming to Nigeria for the first time after so many years. According to him, he’ll be travelling back to his country, Nigeria, this summer in 2021.
Summer begins from August. Usman revealed his intention of visiting Nigeria again after so many years he and his family left for the USA. According to him, he left Nigeria when he was only 8.
While speaking with CNN’s correspondent, Usman had a few things to say about his forthcoming visit to Nigeria, in his words:
“The more I think about it, the more emotional it makes me, because I absolutely love America. I love having the opportunity to be able to do something. To build a lot.
I respect it. By no means do I take it for granted. At the time, being born in a place like Nigeria, that helped mold me to the man that I’m today. Which is why I am vocal and so passionate about showing that flag.”
