Tornado damage highlands ranch, Colorado.
A tornado warning has been lifted in the south Denver metro after a tornado was spotted west of Highlands Ranch, spun off by a potentially damaging weather system moving through the Denver Metro this afternoon.
Forecasters are also warning the storm could generate up to baseball-sized hail, and the National Weather Service says that it is time to get indoors. A severe thunderstorm dropped golf-ball-sized hail on the west Denver suburbs.
Large hail was reported in areas including Morrison, Lakewood and Indian Hills. Lakewood activated its warning sirens to warn people about the hail, police said.
