Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Tanzanian police have arrested man, Derick Derick Junior, who shot another man with a pistol in the head at 1245 night club Masaki in viral CCTV FOOTAGE.
In the trending video, the man on long trousers is captured talking with his woman when she suddenly left him for the other man. In the process, they began to fight as the other man used the bottom of the gun to hit his fellow man, leaving him to bleed on the floor.
STATEMENT READS:
“PRESS RELEASE
The Dar es Salaam Special Zone Police Force would like to provide information regarding the incident of a photo (video) seen on social media on 27.10.2024 showing a man threatening people with a weapon.
“Following the incident, the Dar es Salaam Special Zone Police Force has arrested and is holding Derick Derick Junior, 36 years old, a resident of Salasala Kinondoni on suspicion of wounding and threatening with a weapon. Masaki ‘1245 night club’ in Kinondoni where the accused injured Julian Bujuru by hitting him with the butt of a pistol and also injured his eye and nose.
“In addition, the Police Force in collaboration with the National Prosecutor’s Office is completing the legal procedure so that the suspect can be brought before other Law Bodies as soon as possible.
The Police Force calls on the citizens that they will not hesitate to take any person who owns a weapon, who is found to be doing actions that are against the Law, Rules and procedures specified in his permit to own a weapon.
