Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Seun Kuti turns himself in to the police after he slapped a policeman on Third Mainland bridge.
The afrobeat crooner was captured in a viral video assaulting a police operative on duty.
In the video making the rounds on the internet, Seun Kuti could be seen lambasting the policeman after slapping him.
Seun Kuti explained, “He tried to kill me and my family. I have the proof but I no dey chase clout.”
The police operative did not retaliate in the video.
Apparently, Kuti’s car was stopped by the police officer on an expressway in Lagos, which seemed not to sit well with the singer.
Kuti was heard in the video saying; “You dey craze? You dey mad?” Singer Seun Kuti was caught on video pushing and slapping a police officer during a confrontation at Third Mainland Bridge.
Though it is unclear what led to the confrontation, but the police officer was calm while being confronted by the singer.
