Según la Ministra de Minas, Irene Vélez-Torres, el Fondo de Estabilización de los Precios deCombustibles tiene un déficit de 10.000 BILLONES de pesos.

In that sense, the estimated red balance of the Fepc for the end of this year is 30 billion pesos (about 6,800 million dollars at today’s exchange rate), since 6.4 billion have already been paid and for the budget of 2023, 19 billion were programmed.

And in the face of this situation, social networks were filled with messages against the minister. Political personalities in the country continue to affirm that, in their opinion, Irene Vélez should not be in high office by confusing trillions with billions.
