According to information, the road and trailer accidents have claimed lives of students of AAUA and that of some indigenes of Ondo state.
According to information, a graduate who went back to school for his clearance got knocked down and killed by a trailer yesterday, February 3, 2022, in Akungba.
Also, students returning to school for examinations also got crushed in the road accidents. Road and trailer accidents have been occurring at AAUA gates and in Akungba since 2019.
Funnily enough, most of the accidents are usually caused by Dangote Group of Companies trucks. Currently, Nigerians and Nigerian students have taken to social media to trend #SaveAAUA and #SaveAkungba following the tragic accidents in a day.
One happened at Ramosa filling station, the second one at Akungba junction and the last one at Okusa Market.

These are series of accidents in Akungba-Akoko. Tiny hilly road and heavy duty trailers are the cause of all these deaths.
Innocent students and indigenes are dying.

The AAUA I am proud of is now becoming a valley of accidents….
If we fail to speak up remember that you may be the next victim or someone we know. Let’s start saving lives.
The death rate is now scaring than kidnapping and banditry in the state.
Let’s #SaveAAUA.
