Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that S.Africans demand apology from Bongani Zungu for not showing empathy after he broke Bernard Parker leg during football match.

Zungu was shown a straight red for this reckless and dangerous tackle on Parker, and he was visibly frustrated by the referee’s decision.

Just after Marcelo Allende scored a grass cutter in the Carling Knockout Cup between TS Galaxy and Mamelodi Sundowns, Zungu was shown a straight red card for a nasty tackle on veteran attacker Parker.


Parker was subsequently stretchered off by the medics as he appeared to have broken his leg and given his age, 37, Zungu’s rash tackle might have sent the former Kaizer Chiefs striker into premature retirement as he is in his 19th season of his career.


However, it is fair to mention that the referee was spot on in showing Zungu the red card, and perhaps the Sundowns midfielder would also later admitted.
