Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Radical Khalistani Sikhs are planning to kill Dalit Hindu girl, Archana Makwana, for practicing yoga in Amritsar’s Golden Temple.
The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has filed a police complaint against a woman for performing yoga inside the premises of Amritsar’s Golden Temple. The SGPC has also dismissed three of its employees from their jobs for negligence in duty and fined Rs 5,000 each.
The woman, Archana Makwana, is a practitioner of yoga. She came to Delhi on June 21, observed as International Yoga Day, to receive an award and also performed asanas on the premises of the Golden Temple.
She further requested people not to abuse her as she was getting death threats and abusive messages and phone calls. Authorities are currently investigating the complaint, and further actions will be determined based on their findings.
