Ugandan singer and Presidental Candidate of National Unity Platform (NUP), Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as, Bobi Wine, has been arrested by the Ugandan police minutes after announcing presidential run.
In a video, Bobi Wine is seen as he’s been dragged the police minutes after he announced his intention to run for president in his country, Uganda.
The handler of his Twitter page made his known in a tweet and also blamed the current president, Yoweri Museveni for his arrest. According to his admin, Bobi Wine was arrested outside of the nomination venue. He’s been brutalised by the police and military men.

“Right after nomination, Bobi Wine was violently arrested outside nomination venue! He’s been brutalised by police and military. They’ve blocked him from proceeding to launch his manifesto at office. It’s clear Museveni and his regime are in much panic. We shall overcome admin,” Bobi Wine’s admib tweeted.
