Police are asking for help finding a man who tried to kidnap a 5-year-old girl by offering her mom money and then trying to grab her.
About noon Thursday, the mother and her daughter were walking in the 5100 block of West Fullerton Avenue when a man walked up to them, police said.
The man talked to the mother and offered her money for her daughter, police said. When the mother refused, he attempted to grab and pull the girl, police said.
