Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Phendukani Mabhida shot dead in Ward 18 of Mandeni

A ward councillor of the ANC has been shot dead at the notorious Sundumbili township in Mandeni, KwaZulu-Natal.

Phendukani Mabhida, the councillor of ward 18 at the ANC-run Mandeni local municipality was attacked by the gunmen at his home around 10pm yesterday and he was then rushed to hospital where he later died.
