Recent attacks by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan’s Gezira state have led to the deaths of dozens of civilians and the displacement of thousands, according to aid groups.

A doctors’ union and youth group reported RSF attacks in the region, with forces looting and damaging both public and private properties, and leaving dozens dead.
