Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Nigerian police officers have beaten, attacked and forced a student to withdraw N25K via ATM, in Okene, Kogi State. (Read More Here).




After withdrawing the money by the yet-to-be identified student, the police officers collected it from him. The incident took place yesterday evening, October 16, 2021, in Okene, Kogi State. 


According to the angry narrator, he says that their bus was stopped by the Nigerian police officers, and they saw the boy with his laptop and accused him of being a suspected fraduster (Yahoo boy). 


The student told the police officers that his laptop was meant for his school works, such as: assignments, etc, but the police officers refused to believe him. The student was forcefully taken to an ATM stand, where he was made to withdraw N25k. 


Some residents in the area knew about the case and began to speak up. In the process, the police officer, identified as Ifediegwu Godwin, became violent as he began to slap a passenger and threatened to shoot anyone. 


According to information, the Inspector General of Police has ordered investigation into the viral video of a police officer slapping a passenger along an express road in Okene, Kogi state
