A few days ago, Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, trended after a video of him correcting a grammatical error went viral on social media. (Read More Here).
In the trending video, Governor Dapo Abiodun, was seen at the State House while preparing for his speech with his aides during a rehearsal session.
The statement reads:
“The proximity of our state to and fro only neighbour to Lagos, the fifth largest economy of the continent is that we are committing to harness.”
When the Governor got to the “to harness” part, he said something was wrong. In the end, he corrected the grammatical error by adding, “to harnessing.” His aides kept saying that it’s correct, but the governor disagreed.
