Nigerian actor and comedian, Omiyinka Olanrewaju James, popularly known as, Baba Ijesha, has pleaded not guilty to 6-count charges at Special Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Ikeja, today.
A few hours ago, Baba Ijesha stormed the court in handcuffs. He was accompanied by his friend and fellow Yoruba actor, Yomi Fabiyi. Few minutes later, foster mother to the molested girl, Princess, stormed the court and refused to speak with journalists.
While appearing before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, the state counsel, Mrs Olayinka Adeyemi said that the state had filed six counts charges against the defendant urging the court to take the plea of the defendant.
He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge levelled against him.
Update: Baba Ijesha has been granted bail of N2 million and two (2) sureties.
