It was on April 4th that the Marseille BRI finally managed to get their hands on Mattéo, gun-bearer of the “DZ Mafia”, a Marseilles organization linked to drug trafficking. During his arrest, he reportedly told the investigators: “”You’re lucky that I don’t have a weapon on me, otherwise I would have died weapons in hand! “.
