Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Manchester United former footballer, Patrice Evra, has visited Chess In Slums team at Oshodi UNDERBRIDGE in Lagos state. (Read More Here).
According to information, he also learnt how to play the game, chess, from a young talented player who taught.
According to reports, Evra, was invited by the organiser of Chess in Slums, Tunde OD.

Tunde OD wrote: “We’re all Area boys. I grew up supporting @ManUtd and today I got to meet one of my heroes @Evra right under oshodi underbridge where he got to learn chess from one of the boys.
He told me that I was also one of his heroes and this truly means a lot to me.”
