Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Man shows picture of his wife who passed away to Adele at her concert when singing ‘When we were young’ song.
In a TikTok video, Adele was seen singing her 2011 ballad Someone Like You as she addressed the man, dedicating the song to him. “This is for you, sir, who’s showing me a photo of his wife on his phone.”
“When I walk through the crowd, I wish you could see what I could see because I know I talk to a few people every night,” she said.
In the clip, emotional Adele continued, “But then I just see little stories of people happening.”
“And there was a man. He’s just there, can you see him holding his phone up? I think that’s his wife on his phone and I don’t think that she’s here. And it just really moved me,” she added, tearfully.
Adele said, “It looks like you’re here on your own. I’m so sorry for your loss. And I’m so sorry I didn’t realise what you were showing me until I was already over there.”
The Easy on Me singer concluded, “I see these little pockets of people’s lives when I walk through and it’s so beautiful.”
Adele has earned seven Grammy nominations this year including, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year.
It comes after Adele denied wild claims that she ‘wasn’t going to attend the Grammy Awards’ during her Vegas residency performance on Friday.
The hitmaker is nominated for seven awards including three in the Big Four – Record of the Year, Song of the Year for ‘Easy On Me’ and Album of the Year for 30.
She confirmed she will be in attendance of the 65th Grammy Awards and ‘would never disrespect’ the ceremony like that. Adele dazzled at the weekend as she performed in a custom eco-friendly Stella McCartney gown during her Las Vegas residency on Saturday.
The singer, 34, wore a black dress with a plunging neckline that showed off her ample cleavage as McCartney said she had wanted to celebrate her ‘curves’.
The gown, made from wood pulp, hugged her svelte waist and was covered in carefully placed crystals that gleamed under the lights.In the clip of Adele on stage which surfaced on Twitter, she asked the audience: ‘Who said I wasn’t going to the Grammys!’
She slammed the claim: ‘Man, whoever started that rumour is a d***head! I am going to the Grammys. I would never miss the Grammys.
‘I would never be as disrespectful to the Grammys or to other artists. Whoever started that little story needs to go touch some grass. Go get some fresh air’.
