Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Nigerian veteran actor, Baba Suwe, has died of diabetic complications at the age of 63. (Read More Here).
Taking to her, the daughter of Baba Suwe, Adesola Omidina, announced the death of her father. She wrote:
“This is to announce the sudden death of my father Mr. Babatunde Omidina. The legend and rare gem “ Babasuwe ° Other details will follow shortly! May your soul rest in perfect peace Dad.”
His son also shared a video which is currently making rounds on social media, which shows his late father, Baba Suwe, lying lifeless in his bed at home. Technically, he died at home.
In the trending video, his son was heard saying that he loves his father and he will continue to be grateful to his dad. Information has it that Baba Suwe had battled with diabetes and had some complications, but received treatment abroad.
In 2011, the veteran thespian was arrested by the NDLEA with claims that he was in possession of substances suspected to be cocaine.
He was accused of drug trafficking by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, an allegation that was described as false and defamatory by the ruling of the Lagos high court of law.
