Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that It was an emotional day at Jomo Kenyatta International airport as the family of Faith Njeri Ngugi welcomed her back home. (Read More Here).





The mother of one, who comes from Kiambu had travelled to Saudi Arabia in search of green pastures but little did she know the misfortunes that would befall her.


The 28 year old reportedly underwent torture by her employer in Gulf for five months leading to paralysis and the termination of her contract.


Attempts to travel back home bore no fruits since due to her condition, most airlines refused to board her.


When her story was aired by Beth Kabuga, former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko offered to pay her plane ticket back to Kenya, take care of her medical bills and secure her a job.


“After her case was brought to me by a good Samaritan, Beth Kabuga, I offered to pay for her air ticket to airlift her back to Nairobi and also take care of her medical costs locally and ensure she recovers as we plan to secure a job for her. Due to her health condition, some airlines had refused to board her but through my intervention it was possible,” Said Sonko.


Among the family members who received her at the airport was her boyfriend’s mother who was happy her daughter-in-law is back alive.
