Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Jordan Travis riding on golf cart as he arrived for practice with FSU quarterbacks…
Travis, in the back seat of a golf cart with his left leg resting on a leg elevation pillow, was first driven into the practice fields before he headed back to the Moore Athletic Center.
He then returned and rode in with the quarterback group, including new starting quarterback Tate Rodemaker. Darrick Yray, the Seminoles’ general manager of personnel, drove the golf cart and was accompanied by another adult in the front seat.
Florida State will turn to quarterback Tate Rodemaker this week to start against Florida. Brock Glenn is expected to serve as the Noles’ backup quarterback vs. the Gators.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on Saturday night. Travis was injured by a “hip-drop” tackle from North Alabama’s Shaun Myers with just under two minutes left in the first quarter.
Travis stayed down and was eventually taken off on a cart to a waiting ambulance with what appeared to be a severe leg injury during Saturday’s 58-13 win over the Lions.
Travis posted updates from his Instagram account, including some showing Seminoles teammates around him in the hospital room.
He announced Monday the injury has ended his career at FSU.
