Boys at Jaja hall or hostel in UNILAG have hailed the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ogundipe, for addressing them after light went out in the entire hall. (Read More Here).
In the trending video, the students were heard hailing the V.C as they called him, “ODOGWU”, which means “able man” or “a person who is capable of doing something.”
Jaja was reportedly the only hostel that didn’t have light tonight and the VC came to the hostel along side with the DEAN of student affairs to speak to the student and few minutes later light was restored.
