Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that iStreet Kenya released statement after a TikToker accused the brand of selling stolen iPhones to Kenyans. 



ISTREET WROTE: “Dear iPhone street 

We hope this message finds all of you in good spirits. We wanted to take a moment to talk to you. Our valued customers, about some recent concerns that have come up online regarding iPhone street 

First of all, let us begin by acknowledging a shortfall om our part. We realize that we haven’t set up a proper dedicated customer service and support center that can serve the rising number of clients, and for that, we’re truly sorry. It’s an oversight we take full responsibility. 


“At iPhone street, we’ve always aimed to offer you a variety of iPhones, including new, refurbished and used models 

We’re proud of our commitment to transparency, ensuring you have all the information you need about the condition…” 

Kenyans on social media have come out to voice their dissatisfaction with iPhone Street Kenya, a popular shop in Nairobi that sells a range of apple products.


A number of social media users have taken to social media calling out the shop for allegedly misleading customers by selling refurbished iPhones at the price of new ones. The controversy reached its top when TikTok user Lordhezion posted a video detailing his disheartening experience with the store.


“A man has raised concerns about IPhone Street Kenya (a company endorsed by multiple Kenyan celebrities) for allegedly refurbishing an iPhone 13 and falsely selling it as brand new, “Edgar Obare posted on X.
