A group of pro SARS protesters, known as, The Indigenous people of Abuja have given end SARS protest an ultimatum to leave the roads within 48-hours or else they will do something drastic.
The press briefing by the Indigenous people of Abuja took place along Area 11, at Louis Edet House, FCT, Abuja.
In the video, the spokesman of Indigenous people of Abuja, Yunusa Ahamdu Yusuf, told the pressmen (AIT, Arise News and NTA crews) that he and his members have given end SARS protesters an ultimatum of 48-hours to unblock the roads or else they’ll strike.
According to Yunusa, he says the end SARS/SWAT protest is like a political undertone now. A letter from the group was handed over the DIG of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), Laye Oyebade.
The DIG of the Nigerian Police Force assures the Indigenous people of Abuja that he will hand the letter to the IGP (Inspector General of Police), Mohammed Adamu. DIG Laye promised the group that their complaint will be attended to and will also be resolved but they shouldn’t do anything drastic.
