Right in front of a sold-out crowd of 20,000 at the legendary arena, Rema mesmerized fans when he pulled up wearing a mask and all-black outfit while straddling a stationary horse to the beats of his latest hit, “DND.”

Recall that the Nigerian singer Rema, recently sold out the O2 Arena in London for his concert on November 14, 2023. This is a major achievement for the 23-year-old star, as it makes him the youngest African artist to sell out the iconic venue.


Expressing gratitude before taking the stage, Rema thanked Burna Boy for his support and inspiration.


In a tweet, he shared, “Before I get on stage, I want to say a big thank you to @burnaboy for bringing me on stage two years ago.


“Today it’s my turn to conquer that same stage, and I wish you were here to share this moment with me. Regardless, I’m grateful for the motivation.”


The O2 Arena is one of the largest indoor arenas in the world, with a capacity of over 20,000 people. It has hosted some of the biggest names in music, including Beyoncé, Adele, and Ed Sheeran.


Rema’s sold-out concert at the O2 Arena is a testament to his global popularity. He has released several hit songs in recent years, including “Iron Man,” “Soundgasm,” and “Calm Down.” He has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Chris Brown and Selena Gomez.


Rema has joined other Nigerian Superstars, who have sold out concerts at the O2 Arena, such as Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and Asake.


The “Calm Down” crooner continued to captivate the audience with a succession of his chart-topping hits, including “Dirty,” “Ginger Me,” “Addicted,” “Why,” “Dimension,” “Soundgasm,” “Fame,” “HOV,” “Trouble Maker,” “Lady,” “Don’t Leave,” “Dumebi,” “Bounce,” and “Charm,” showcasing the depth of his growing catalog.


A standout moment unfolded when Rema brought fellow Mavin Records signees, Ayra Starr, Crayon, and Magixx, on stage for a collaborative performance of “Won Da Mo.”
