Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Igbo Lady Cries Bitterly As Parents Cancel Her Marriage Plans with Yoruba Fiancé. (Read More Here).




Despite the praises heaped on him, a Twitter user felt he should not have returned the money. Another Twitter user urged the owner to compensate Timothy with part of the money.


A man has revealed that the targeted electoral violence that happened in Lagos state is already affecting intertribal relationships.


He said that a friend who is an Igbo girl cried bitterly to him over the phone because her parents called off the marriage plans with her boyfriend she has been eagerly waiting for.


According to the narrator known as Iyke Nwabuko, her family barred the man from coming for the introductory rights which had earlier been agreed upon.


He said the heartbroken lady has been crying about the development as if someone close to her died in a fatal accident.


He wrote; “This Lagos violence is something o, an igbo girl was crying on phone that her parents are saying they don’t want to see the Yoruba guy that was supose to come visiting, for the traditional knocking ceremony.


Babe has cried her eyes out. wahala de o! Babe de cry like person wey lose person for accident o”. 


Yet-to-be-identified persons were said to have set ablaze the market dominated by Igbos, with property worth millions of Naira destroyed over political reasons.


And in a tweet on Wednesday, Mr. P made it clear that the two dominant tribes in Lagos State, the Igbo and the Yoruba, do not hate each other, saying that Nigerians must realise that politicians do not want the best for them no matter what tribe they belong to.


The music artist wants the people to understand that they are being used by politicians who do not care about them but are bent on planting hatred among the different tribes that co-exist in the city of Lagos.


Peter, popularly known by his stage name, Mr. P, made the call on Wednesday following the fire outbreak at Akere Spare Parts Market in Olodi-Apapa, Ajegunle, Lagos.
