Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that oppressed CCC supporter, Madzibaba VeShanduko, is finally receiving treatment at a yet-to-be disclosed hospital in Harare, Zimbabwe. (Read More Here).
In a video shared by popular Zimbabwean with blogger, Hopewell, Zimbabwean main opposition leader, Nelson Chamisa, is seen at the hospital with Madzibaba.
While with him, Madzibaba, narrates how he was arrested by the police and how he was maltreated. In the process, he says he was no where near the Nehanda statue when the police arrested him.
Hopewell said: “I was NOWHERE near Nehanda statue, says MadziBaba.
Zimbabwean main opposition leader @nelsonchamisa visited his prominent supporter, @MadzibabaV who was arrested & tortured by @PoliceZimbabwe for wearing CCC party regalia.
He is in hospital being treated for the torture wounds.”
In statement, ministry of information says “as part of investigation into allegations of ill-treatment of a suspect in custody, some police officers have been arrested.” The suspect is prominent opposition activist ‘Madzibaba VeShanduko’, arrested and tortured Thursday.
