Comptroller-General of immigration, Muhammed Babandede has finally spoken after testing positive for Corona Virus.

On the 29th of March, 2020, Muhammed Babandede revealed that he had tested positive for COVID-19. On the 1st of April, 2020, he made a video to thank everyone for his/her prayers and also thanked Allah. 

He said: “Distinguished ladies and gentlemen

I will like to thank all my friends, loved ones, officers and men

Muslims and Christians in Nigeria and abroad for their enormous prayers for my quick recovery 

I’m very grateful for your prayers

In the reality, your prayers are helping me to recover quickly 

Allah knows better

But I thank him, Allah forgiving me the opportunity to be sick, because it gives me opportunity to humble myself 

To also know and be loved by such a large of people 

Today, on the 1st of April

I’m sending this short video and telling you that I’m doing well 

I’m recovering gradually 

Please, take care always 

Wash your hands, maintain social distance… “
