Recall that on October 20, 2020, a few Nigerians and End SARS protesters were killed at Lekki Toll Gate. Since then, questions and investigations have been going on. Occupy Lagos Lekki Toll Gate protest begins/starts on the 13th of February, 2021 at 7:00AM.
Judicial Panels were established in many states across Nigeria to investigate into the killings and shootings of End SARS protesters. A few days ago, Lekki Concession Company and a few members of Lagos State Judicial Panel voted that the Lekki Toll Gate should be reopened. That votes have stirred up the urge/passion to protest again.
According to a trending video on social media, it was reported that Lagos State Police Task Force – RRS (Rapid Response Squad) are seen at Lekki Toll Gate. Hundreds of the Armed force men have assembled at Lekki Toll Gate against tomorrow’s Occupy Lekki Toll Gate protest.
