Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Groom from viral $56M wedding killed a cop.
Madelaine Brockway, a 26-year-old Florida car dealership heiress, became a viral sensation for the clips of her extravagant, five-day November wedding celebration in Paris she shared on her now-defunct TikTok.
But the groom, Jacob Chase LaGrone, is stealing the spotlight from the bride now that social media users’ opinions have soured over accusations against him.
LaGrone, 29, is charged with aggravated assault against a public servant after he allegedly fired at cops in Texas on March 14.
His newly-wedded wife has since stopped posting on social media, and took down several videos that related to the wedding.
He appeared in court Thursday and could face up to life in prison if convicted.
Brockway did not attend the hearing at Tarrant Country District Court, according to NBC News.
LaGrone has been offered a plea deal in which he’d be sentenced to 25 years in exchange for pleading guilty and forgoing a trial. But it looks like the couple’s fortune has taken a turn for the worse after LaGrone was charged with three counts of aggravated assault against police after he allegedly fired a gun at them in March earlier this year.
Three officers from Westworth Village and Westover Hills said they were responding to “multiple disturbance calls” on 14th March when they allegedly “were fired upon” by LaGrone.
