An off-duty nurse is hailed a hero after she revived an unresponsive infant during a Orlando-bound Spirit Airlines flight.
On Thursday, Tamara Panzino was on a Spirit Airlines flight from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when three-month-old Anjelé became unresponsive 30 minutes after takeoff. During the emergency situation, Panzino immediately started massaging the baby girl’s chest and legs. Moments later, Anjelé started breathing again. According to the Daily Mail, Fox35’s meteorologist Ian Cassette was on the flight and posted the heartwarming moment on Twitter.
‘On my flight back from Pittsburgh to Orlando, a baby stopped breathing three rows ahead of me. Thankfully a nurse (Tamara Panzino) was able to get the baby to breathe again.’
