Yesterday we shared shocking video footage of a two planes colliding in mid-air and then crashing to the ground during an air show in Dallas, Texas.
It has now been confirmed by officials that 6 people have died in the tragic incident. Dallas Fire-Rescue first reported the aircraft emergency involving a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and a Bell P-63 Kingcobra — which collided and crashed at the Wings Over Dallas Airshow around 1:20 p.m. on Saturday (November 12).
According to a tweet from Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins, the Dallas Medical Examiner confirmed that a total of 6 people passed away. Meanwhile, local authorities have launched an investigation and are in the process of identifying all of the deceased, and notifying their families.
