Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that flood has overtaken Alimosho local government area of Lagos, yesterday, Sunday, after heavy downpours of rain. (Read More Here).
In the trending video, passengers were seen walking on the other side of the road after alighting from their various buses, while some buses and tricycles were on the side of the flooded road.
NEMA has advised residents and motorists in the area to exercise utmost caution as some electric poles fell due to the downpour.
Acting Zonal Coordinator, South-West NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, said the downpour affected Oko Oba, Ekoro, Akowonjo, Egbeda, Ekoro Ijaye, Kola, Amadiya Abeokuta expressway
