The first annual “Give Her Flowhers” awards gala went down last night in Los Angeles and Hollywood Unlocked was in the building to speak with some of the biggest names in music about the exciting night.
Sevyn Streeter spoke on how great it was to be in a room full of positive women. “It’s big fem energy. It’s a room full of positive women who want to do nothing but uplift each other.” She said. “I had the pleasure of doing a Femme It Forward concert earlier this year. It was myself, Ari Lennox, and Teyana Taylor so it’s just nice to see the concerts come to life and all of these women in the same room and celebrating each other and saying girl you’re doing good, we’re proud of you and you have a sisterhood.”
